Booking at the 7 month mark

Aloha , how hard is it to book 2 bedroom villas at the 7 month mark? this is my first time booking and im getting anxiety .. also i have enough points to get the other more point views.. my top choices in order Riviera, VGF, and Saratoga. i do plan on being on and ready to book when it opens.. thanks in advance

Depends a lot on what your dates there will be.

Saratoga will have availability most any time.

A 2br at VGF may be doable except when holiday decorations go up or during Halloween or Christmas parties when those resume. Remains to be seen how much the new resort studios will drive people to the original VGF since the deluxe studios are viewed by many as real ones with the new ones viewed as glorified hotel rooms.

No idea about Riviera.

thanks for the info . my dates are 5 nights end of Sept and 4 nights beggining of Oct (2 different resorts split stay)

Saratoga, quite likely then. VGF probably doable.

That's not a terribly popular time due to weather--still blazin' hot and midst of hurricane season.

I think RIV 2 bedroom SVs will be difficult at the 7 month mark that time of year. So, will VGF.

I went last year right around that time and took some time to get just the two nights I needed at VGF. I own at RIV so had those booked but they were gone by 7 months.

SSR is your best bet.

ahh ok thanks for your response . i guess i can add on to my backup plan and keep fingers crossed lol .. where else do u think is avail at that time ? ive seen OKW and Saratoga always seems avail anywhere else ?

You will be traveling during a very busy DVC time so honestly, all the near park resorts will be difficult.

Id get your home resort booked now and hope for the best.to change it..unless you don’t own at WDW?

Since you want to split stay, book it that way to start.

Id say your best bet for 2Br will be SS, OKW and AK at 7 months…
