Booking At Riviera

We are Copper Creek direct owners and we just bought a resale contract at Saratoga Springs. This resale contract came with banked 2020 points that will expire in Feb 2022. It's my understanding that we can't use these resale points to book at Riviera...right? I'm hoping that perhaps because we also own direct, that I'm wrong?!!? But I think the answer is no. We can use our direct Copper Creek points towards Riviera, but not the resale Saratoga Springs one. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Your SSR resale points cannot be used to book RIV. CCV direct points can. It doesn't matter that you own some direct points. That doesn't change the resale points into unrestricted points.

The booking privilege goes with the points, not the Member.

Only RIV points can book Riviera prior to the 7 month window. After that, only points purchased directly or resale points purchased prior to January 19, 2019 can book Riviera.
