Booking at 7 months

We're renting points from a friend again and can't remember if we can book our reservation 7 months from our first night, or if it's 7 months from the last night. We're going Oct. 24-31 so I know it's sometime at the end of this month. Just want to know for sure so we book as soon as the 7 month window opens. Last year we were able to get a standard view studio at AKV for this same week, hoping for possibly a standard view studio at Boardwalk this time. Being Food & Wine festival I'm guessing our chances are pretty slim though.

Odds of a standard view studio at BWV would be very slim. Those get booked up at eleven months out and especially for F&W festival. You might not even be able to get the preferred pool/garden view at BWV. And BCV might be even harder.

This is my expectation as well. We're just wanting to try something new, but having to book 7 months out leaves us with limited options that fit our budget. Guess we'll see what's available come the 24th.

Decided to go back to AKV since we liked it so much. Got all 6 nights for our trip in October.
