Booking at 7 Months question

Hi. I am looking to book a reservation for Easter 2016 at the 7 month mark. We would be staying for 9 nights. I know I can only book the first 7 nights at the 7 month mark. My question is how/when do I book night 8 and 9? Do I have to wait until 7 months before the 8th night? Can I add on to the reservation using the online reservation system or do I have to call MS? We usually do split stays so I only book 4-5 nights at a time. This time we want to stay in the same place and I've confused myself how to do it. Thank is advance for your help!!

You can add days as soon as they fall within the +7 timeframe, but you do have to call.

You have a choice:
wait until the 7 month dates open and then book online, after you get all the reservations, e-mail MS and ask them to be combined into one reservation.
call MS at 8 am and add on the 8th & 9th days after booking the original 7 nights.

Thanks for your response. I would have to call 2 times (for the 8th night and then call the following day for the 9th day) or wait a day and book the 2 days together, correct?

Either way, yes.

If you call, it's 9:00 Eastern, online it's 8:00.

We book online and then send MS an email via the member website to combine the added nights into the original reservation. I like it because I can also add room requests and you get a written confirmation. Via phone calls I seem to have more errors.

If you have enough points, book the 7 days at day 1 then the next morning book the 8 days and cancel the 7 day reservation then do the same the following morning. If you don't have enough points, I'd call day by day if it's important to you.

To add nights online, you would need to wait until 7 months out from the first night you are adding because you would be making a new reservation for the additional nights (and then email MS to link the reservations. You can call and add a night beginning the day after you set up your initial 7 night reservation done at 11 months out.

As to making an Easter time reservation at 7 months, the advisable course may well be to call daily and add nights rather than waiting any time to get the additonal nights. There are many things open 7 months out during Easter time. However, there is a progression to the rooms filling and if the nights you have to add are nights right after Easter, you should likely be calling daily to add them right after making the initial reservation. What I have seen at Easter time is that come 7 months out from Easter Sunday a lot of the near-parks still have openings such as BWV pool/garden, BLT lake view, and even possibly BCV. However, at 7 months out from the Monday, Tuesday, Wedneday or Thursday night of Easter week, you can find those nights filled for one or more of the those near park resorts, particularly for studios or 2BR lock-offs. In other words they are being filled by members reserving 7 months out from Easter Sunday.

Thank you! We would be going the week before Easter and checking out the Monday after Easter for 9 nights..We are hoping for a studio at Poly, BCV or BWV!!
