Booking AP rates with voucher

Can you make reservations with an AP voucher and if you can what do you tell the CM on the phone when you do book?

I made our room reservations at the AP rate, before I had even bought the vouchers. All that is required is that you have the vouchers or passes when you check in.

You don't need anything to book a room at an AP rate.

Official policy is that you must present an activated AP upon check in to get the AP rate. Many report having to show nothing, many report the voucher being okay, and still others report that they had to activate the AP.

But the short answer is, no, you need neither a voucher nor an activated pass to book a room at an AP rate.
