Booking and Canceling

So my use year is February. I made some reservations for September of next year, 2024, and then had to cancel so the points just went back into my accounts. I am going to book another stay but may have to change again. Is there any limit to the number of times they allow you book and cancel without Any type of penalty? I’m not planning on booking and canceling just for fun but just concerned if I book something again now while it’s available and have to change again we’ll before the 30 days mark, I don’t want my points ending up in holding or something

Nope, no penalty as long as you cancel 31 or more days from checkin! Just be careful if you borrow any points!

You may book and cancel as many times are you like.

Here are two things to keep in mind:
(1) If you cancel less than 31 days in advance, your points will go into holding.

(2) Your banking deadline for a February 2024 UY is September 30, 2024. If you cancel after September 30th of 2024, your points will be stuck in the 2024 UY.
