I was thinking of getting a flight the day before our actual arrival time for our land/sea vacation.

We are staying at Poly for our land portion . . .if I came in a day early, would I be able to stay in the same room or have to move to a different room?

HELP!

Thanks.

If you call and extend your existing reservation, you would have no problems.

You may or may not get the additional day at your existing rate though. We have been lucky that they have extended existing AP rates as we've added days to our trip, but that only happens if rooms for that rate are still available (regardless of whether the original "valid through" dates have past).

We added a day onto the land portion of our land/sea. Keep in mind, they will require you to pay for an additional day of ultimate park hopper plus passes for everyone in your party. It also appeared to confuse the heck out of people since DCL handles any ressie stuff when a land/sea is involved, but the resort handled anything having to do with the extra day. In fact, it showed as if we were staying just one day when we checked in. If you do this, make sure you or your TA makes a note to link the reservations for both parts of the package, the land/sea and the extra day. We didn't have any problems with them adjusting the ressie at check-in so that we were in the same room the whole time. But if it is a busy time, who knows what can happen.
