I'd like to book a two bedroom value for 12/22/13 to 12/27/13 at the 11 month window.

I'm assuming they will go quick?

Is booking online the best way to go?

I could book on 1/22/13 after midnight or in the morning?

Thanks in advance for suggestions.

You can book on-line at 8 AM Eastern time the morning your booking window opens.

There are only ten 2-bedroom Values available at AKV Jambo House.

:crazy2: That's all!?! So if someone wants to book a week beginning on 12/21, there is one less room. I better decide now if we want to go with a standard in Kidani as our second option. I think we are talking the difference between 190 points as opposed to 221 points.

BTW, do you know how many of those ten 2-bedrooms are savannah/pool/parking lot views?

You can always waitlist and book standard. You never know.

If you book, do on-line and do at 8 a.m.eastern, the moment the 11 month window opens on-line. What you want could be gone by the time the phone lines open at 9 a.m. eastern when seeking a value unit. Example, right now members are reserving days in first week of Dec at the 11 month window. That week actually has higher demand than Christmas week (which is second highest demand week). Value studios and 2BRs for Dec 3, 2013 disappeared at 8:05 a.m. eastern time today, Jan 3. If you want standard view or savanna, you won't even need to rush as those will last well into the 11 month window and may even be available at 7 months.

When you consider that you can get perhaps a dedicated 2 bedroom at Kidani, with 3 full baths & the 2 queen beds, I do go with the standard at Kidani sometimes. I've had the value 2 bedrooms a few times. What I don't like is the main bathroom shower/tub set up. It's getting harder for me to use it, I much prefer a shower stall.

I like the point savings, but sometimes I pick Kidani, standard..that's what I did for next week! I gave up a value 1 bedroom for 1 bedroom standard at Kidani about 6 months ago.

I hear what you are saying, Bobbi. As I mentioned in another thread, last March my husband I went down for three nights alone and splurged for a one bedroom SV. We chose Jambo because it was a short stay and we wanted to be by the main pool and restaurants. I didn't realize that we wouldn't get the cool bathroom. Never thought to even check on that. No biggie though. :)

But this trip will be with our 17 and 20 year old sons. Last time the four of us stayed in a two bedroom in Kidani, the three bathrooms felt like a waste. That being said, we have to give them their own separate bedroom for our sanity!

Then again, when family finds out we are running off next Christmas, I'm thinking there is a good chance of some of them following suit. If a cousin or two crashes with us, the third bathroom wouldn't feel like such a waste.

Whatever happens, it's fun to run all the options--even a year in advance.

And I didn't think about the two queen beds as opposed to the couch/bed scenario. :scratchin

Have a great time next week. We are doing a quick trip in Feb and staying at BWV for the first time.
