Has anyone booked airfare thru MS? Do they have better prices or flights than I'm finding on the airline websites? The only flights I can find for April right now are afternoon and evening. I'd really like a morning flight.

If your airport is Newark, you probably can get cheaper flights with many of the "discount" airlines that fly from there, and possibly even from the larger carriers by signing up for their e-mails (it doesn't cost $ to register as a frequent flyer, even if you've never flown that airline). The "specials" that are sometimes offered in the northeast are amazing! If you're willing to do the work yourself, it's possible to save a lot of $$ (more $ to spend at WDW:rotfl: ).

Occasionally, MS might have a lower airfare than you can find yourself, but usually it will not compete with what you can find online. MS just taps into the Disney Travel system to access the bulk air they have secured.

If you are looking for a flight in the next few days, it's possible MS could find a better rate than what's otherwise available, but I'd sure suggest looking for availability yourself before calling MS so you know what is available and then do the comparison with MS.

Good luck!

We do go out of Newark but the airfares to Florida are ridiculous. It's almost cheaper to fly to LAX than go to MCO. The difference is maybe $50. My concern is more the times of the flights. I'd rather go in the morning and there are almost no morning flights available. I don't mind flying Jet Blue but I refuse to ever fly Air Tran again (not even if the ticket were free). I'm trying to talk DH into using some of his Delta miles for at least one free ticket.

We are going spring break week and the airlines know most people are flying then so they raise the fares.

I just went on the Disney web site to check out air fares but I can't find where to do it. Can any one help? We are going in 3 weeks. My teen aged son has a credit with American - that's no problem if he decides to come. But if he brings a friend, we're looking at 350.00 or so.

That's the problem. Good rates and even flights are hard to come by when all of the NY Metro area is heading to Florida. Have you checked the Jet Blue flights out of JFK and LGA?

I used to use MS all the time for booking flights before it became easy to do ourselves. They generally came in a few dollars cheaper than what I was getting looking for rates myself. It wouldn't hurt to see what they have to offer in terms of cost and schedule.

Still getting great rates from Southwest from PHILLY.
