Hi everyone:

I'm about to book flights for a trip to WDW for THIS May. I can use a voucher that I have with Delta for the flight down; the flight costs $159 (my voucher will cover $149).

Then the best price/time that I could find for the return trip is on JetBlue, for $183.

Usually I pay around $200 TOTAL for a roundtrip ticket. But since it's so close to the trip, is this a normal price? I don't mind paying it if you all tell me to go ahead and book it. lol I'm just afraid I'll book these flights then they'll come back down.

Any insight, opinions? I want to book these flights today :)

P.S. I have specific dates that I need (May8th flight down, May 12th flight back), so I can't play around with the dates to get better fare.

Thanks!

I feel your pain! I've been researching prices for any time the entire summer and EVERYTHING is much higher than I usually pay! We got good prices with Southwest for a trip to Tampa May 11 when we booked a few weeks ago. But SW is horrible for the entire summer! I've checked travelocity, sidestep, cheaptickets, and individual airlines web sites. And the prices seem to go up every time I check! Good luck with your search!

Well, I did it. LOL Thanks for the reply, kytiam! :)

I hope the prices don't go down tomorrow... :scratchin LOL

Oooh! I will feel terrible if I led you astray!! :guilty:
If you find a better price, don't tell me!
Even with high airfare, I know you'll have a great time!
By the way, I enjoyed looking at you vacation pictures! I would have given almost anything to get my boys to sit still and pose for pictures-- and in matching shirts no less!!! :thumbsup2 Thanks for sharing.

No, you definitely didn't lead me stray... I was just looking for someone to say "go ahead and book it"....and I did, and I'm happy, so THANKS!! :goodvibes So far today, the prices are the same... :surfweb:

I'm glad you like my web site, I have a lot of fun putting it together. Oh and regarding my sons wearing the matching shirts at our anniversary dinner, they took them off the moment that dinner was over (they had t-shirts underneath them). LOL

I am in the same boat.

Bought our flight down when a great rate popped but have yet to get anything for our return on 5/20 & am getting a bit twitchy. Not that I have a real problem staying in WDW :goodvibes but kids do need to finish school for the year!

All the dings (mco to phl) seem to still be for April???? I know I have to decide pretty soon!

I got a great deal on Jet Blue, $147.30 RT, from EWR mid-May a couple of weeks ago. I'd been watching for a few months so knew this was probably the best deal I was going to find.

I'm looking to go again mid-August but prices seem pretty steep at the moment so I'm going to wait a bit and see whether they come down.

Just checked this morning and the return flight on JetBlue has gone up $15. :surfweb: LOL

Debbie Jean: $147 roundtrip is excellent!!!!

I usually book flights much further out than this, but I wasn't sure that this trip was going to actually happen until this past weekend.

I notice Jet Blue's fares change daily, too! Isn't that just crazy? :confused3 I finally got the lower fare by going in every day and rechecking the same dates. :thumbsup2 It's amazing to me how much they can vary!

Hang in and keep checking! I'm sending pixie dust your way pixiedust:

I am in the exact same boat! I am looking for May 3 - 7 (can't change my dates either) and Jetblue was $124 down, $174 back (for the better flight time). My DH gave me the go ahead last night, so I hopped back on and the prices went up $10 down, $15 back. Checked again this am and the way home is now $224!!! I don't know what I am going to do.....
