Hi, I am looking to get a best price for 1 week for the school hols for 2 adults and 1 teen at the end of may, departing 27th May staying at All Stars Music. Last year I booked the previous week with Cosmos but staying at the Ramada Plaza Gateway in Kissimmee (never that hotel again :scared1:)! Anyway last year the prices came down nearer the time of the hol and just wonder if that might be the same case this year. At the moment Cosmos are coming out wth the price of approx £2,500 for hotel, car hire and flights from Manchester. If I were to book flights seperately with Monarch (inc the extras) and hotel and car hire through Complete Orlando it works out almost £300 cheaper! Do you think it is worth the wait to see if Cosmos bring their prices down more than this?

TIA.

Could possibly come down but school holidays rarely do, no one can possibly know. If they have seats left the price will drop.

Thank you, its difficult to know wether to take the plunge now, I want someone to make the decision for me :rotfl2: I know its a lot for 1 week but really missing that Florida Sunshine! Comparing the prices we may as well stay at the value resort for convenience of the buses, free parking and the EMH! :)

Personally I would not pay it for 1 week. Just got back, been for Feb half term 2 ad & 1 teen, cost about £1,700 but we did indirect (Man~Philly~Tampa) Offsite (Holiday Inn) and 7 seater SUV. That was about my limit for a weeks break when we are going for over 3 weeks in August. I also have no interest in the value resorts, stayed at ASmovies and didn't enjoy it, prefer offsite.
Difficult one for you, not cheap but if you want to go you might have to pay it.

I know, it is a silly amount when you add it up, especially once you pay for the park tickets plus spends, I've got Jekyll & Hyde in my head :rotfl2:

Thankfully we didn't have park tickets to buy, only went into Universal 1 day for which we have AP's. Over the week we still spent £800 on food, petrol(£125) Airboat ride, Dolphin trip, Trolley tour in St Augustine & shopping.

I had some savings, think the most sensible thing to do is enjoy our Aug 2 weeks this year and put my savings to booking another decent trip next year when they are available, also should be cheaper as my DD finishes school next year, wey hey!!!! Just need to calm down and stop being in such a rush to get there lol! :yay:
