I have a couple of weeks before I hit our 180d but thought I would get started on this now ...

I have booked our trip through a travel agent but want to book our ADRs online myself. We are also travelling with another family and will be eating most of our meals togther so I will be booking some meals for the combined group (4 adults, 4 kids). Both groups are on the regular dining plan.

My questions are:

1) Can I book these online?
2) For me to book 180+10 is there a reservation number that I will need to have from the travel agent?
3) Will it allow me to book for a party larger than our own or for two parties at the same time? (I would be using each of our names for the two party reservations).
4) Do I need the reservation number for the other family as well?
5) Can I make all of the ADRs and then link them to the dining plan (s) later?

Thanks!

Amy

1) Yes you can book them online. I did this last year and a TA booked our trip.
2) You will need your Disney reservation #. Ask your TA for this.
3) You can book for all 8 people. I did this last year for 10 people (3 families). For 2 separate ressie (one for each party) you can do this, but since you will be using your reservation # I would expect the ressies would be under your name. However, if you try to book 2 separate ADRs for the same time you will receive a message saying there is a conflict. You have the option to cancel the original or keep both.
4) No, you shouldn't need their reservation #. If they want to book their own ressie they need it.
5) Your ADRs are not linked to the dining plan at all so you can make all of your ADRs and inform the waiter/waitress you are on the dining plan when you show up for your meal - they ask anyway. You could also choose to pay OOP for a meal that you have a ressie for.

Hope this helps. Have a great trip.:goodvibes
