Booking adrs c.card or just bank card

Really silly question- I'm assuming I can book and pay for our adrs on my normal uk bank card and not on a credit card??

Yes you can

Most only require a hold in case of a no- show very few require payment up front.

I can second that! Have booked three character meals and just used my standard uk debit card as I don't like getting credit for anything. I spoke to a lady at Disney who said it's just to hold your reservation and will only be charged if you don't show up and don't cancel in the agreed cancellation window which is fair enough but you can pay by cash, travellers check or card when actually having the meal if you don't have DDP like we don't.
