Booking ADR's 180 days out

Do I count 180 days from check in or the actual day I want the ADR?

Seems like an obvious question, I know, but I cannot remember what I did before.

We have over 30 people going so we want to book our ADR's together at the exact 180 days out. It's going to take me b/n now and April (my 180 out date) to organize all our wants/needs!

I believe it is from the date of the ressie you're requesting

If you are staying in a Disney Resort (on property), then it's 180 days from the day you check in. You can make up to 10 days' worth of ADRs with that one call.

If you are off-property, you have to call 180 days from the date of each meal.

If you are making ADRs for 30 people, it's best to go through Group Dining. You can still call WDW-DINE, but ask for Group Dining and they will help you set up your meals.
If you are doing any "Grand Gatherings" you may have to talk to someone else as well.

It depends. If you are staying at a WDW property, then you can book them 180 days from your reservation date. When you stay at a WDW property you have an extra 10 days to make reservations when your 180 day mark comes up. (Only works if you are staying 10 days or less) So if you are calling 180 days from the day you check into your resort, you can make reservations for that day and the next 10 days that you are at your resort. So really you can make reservations for the 190 days at the 180 day mark. I'm probably not explaining this very well. Could someone try to help me out?
