Booking across multiple small points contracts

Just added on some points (three 50 point contracts) to my Dec UY and have banked 2020 points into 2021. Is it possible to book a stay across the three contracts only using the banked points? For example, there's an upcoming stay in my 2021 UY that costs 94 points. Is it possible to use the banked points across two of the contracts first before using any of the current UY points? (i.e. taking 50 banked points from contract 1 and 44 banked points from contract 2 instead of all 94 points from contract 1 using banked and current UY points from that contract). Thanks!

Yes, the system should always take banked points before current year points. Just select the 2 to use, and be sure to check your point balance when done.

To add, when you go to book, there is a screen right before you submit that seems like it won’t, but it always does.

As long as the contracts are checked, it will take those first.

Following up on this one. I added a 50 point contract to my 100 point (all direct). I have one contract number but the 50 points has a .1 at the end of the contract.

When I go to make the reservation, it has a lock symbol on the first contract and even when I select both contracts it is using banked and current UY points out of the first contract and not using the remaining banked points from the second contract. I booked the room because I didn't want to lose it but I am not sure how to now change the point allocation. Any help on this?

Check how your points were actually taken by looking on your dashboard and selecting "manage vacation points". You should see that the banked points from the .1 contract were actually used.

Another method to see how the points were allocated is to modify the reservation without making any changes. After confirming the reservation, the final page will have a blue link for "review points summary". This will show how the points were actually used.

When you booked, did you make sure both contracts were checked?

It will only pull all banked if you choose both. While you have one membership, each contract remains its own as they are deeded interests.

If you did, then check as advised as there is a note at the end that makes it seem like it won’t take them but it does.

Thanks for the help. I went through and modified all the way through and it pulled the right points. I guess I didn't select both contracts when I booked.

I did learn that if I just modify it will take the right points.

You may have done it correctly the first time. A common occurrence when you have two or more contracts with banked points and designate those as the ones to use is that when you initially reserve the room, the system will then show that points were taken in order of contracts and not banked points first. Then, after you go through all the other pages (e.g., to add all guests) and get to the final page that shows what really happened, the system will show your reservation and show that banked points were actually used first.
