There will be a total of 4 adults and 6 kids (ages 9 and under) when we go. Our kids are ages 9 and under so they definitely don't need their own bed. If everyone doubles up we will only need 5 beds. Why can't I book a 2 bedroom suite (or even 3 for that matter) on the Disney website it states that "party exceeds max". Both suites says it can accommodate 6 adults.

The 2 bedroom suite has 4 queen beds and 1 queen size sleeper sofa. SO 5 beds...

The 3 bedroom has 4 queen beds, 1 queen size sleeper sofa, 1 king bed and 1 day bed....SO 7 beds...

How am I not able to book either?
If we are doubling up can we call them directly and be able to purchase a suite? We would all fit in a 2 or 3 bedroom.

Basically what I'm asking is how do I go about booking this? Has anyone come across this before and how do you resolve it?

I would call direct. The first thing that springs to mind is that there may be a maximum occupancy limit due to fire codes, but honestly, it seems like a 3 bedroom ought to handle 10.

All of the 2 bedroom suites we have had have 2 queens, 1 king, a twin couch and a queen couch. They sleep 9. I have heard from others that there are 2 double queen 2 bedroom suites, but I haven't seen them. I've also had a 2 bedroom that was 2 kings, 1 twin sleeper, and a queen sofa. You're best bet is to call.
