booking a package at DL hotel or just hotel?

There are 2 kids and 2 adults. We want 3-4 day passes/parkhoppers. Is there a time or site to get a better deal or just keep playing with dates and see what comes up? The cheapest I found was the DL hotel 4 night and 4 day hoppers for 1603?? I wanted to stay offsite but my Mom just insists it's part of the Magic LOL. We are going in june or July?? Is that as good as the prices get? Should I get the tickets sepperate? and get the hotel only?

It will be less expensive to book the hotel room separately and then buy your tickets. The only thing you'll be missing out on is the things like Toontown Morning Madness vouchers and priority seating at shows like Aladdin. I encourage you to price the room and tickets separately, then price out the package and decide if the savings is worth the few perks that are included by booking a package.

You can also just book the hotel now and not buy the tickets, then you'll be able to cancel if some sort of better deal comes along. If nothing does come along, just buy your tickets at the last minute before you leave and print them out at home.

The toontown vouchers & aladdin (priority) tickets are not worth much to many of us. (We can still enjoy toontown & Aladdin, so the vouchers are NOT needed to enjoy...those bennies sound good, but they'd be worth at most $10-$15 per head to me)

Price it out individually & then the package & then post back here for comments. Also, let us know the dates when you post back....someone might know of even a BETTER deal.

My dates are flexable when I can get the best deal I would like to go monday thru thurday and be in the parks Tues (MM), Wed, Thurs. I need to go in the summer in june or july and it would be ideal to go like the 20th of june thru the 23. ( the 21st in my sons birthday) I'll take what I can get cheaper though LOL

I agree to just book the room now and see what specials come out. You can convert it to a package at any point if it ends up being cheaper if a deal comes out.
