Booking a package a year in advance....

On Disneyland.com. When 2026 Disneyland reservations open up, I plan on booking a summer 2026 package. How do park reservations work when it's done that way? When the reservation window opens up for PARK reservations, do you get an email from Disneyland reminding you to make park reservations?
