I'm kind of proud of myself--at one of my busiest times of the year at work, I managed to throw together a trip for 2/10-2/18 over the weekend.
We'd been talking about going then but DH was having trouble clearing his calendar at work since he works in IT and they keep changing the dates for scheduled outages. He finally told me the other day to just book the trip for dd, her friend, and I. I'm really pretty sad about going without him but if things work out, we'll get him a plane ticket at the last minute. We have to go that week because dd is in high school now--they have half days that week and Friday off so I don't feel guilty about taking her out of school.
So--I got fairly good airfare which I was nervous about. Then called Starwood Preferred Guest and had a very nice lady help me get an okay price at the Dolphin--$194 a night. Not as low as usual but better than the internet rate.
I was most worried about ADR's since I keep hearing about how difficult they are to get nowadays. I only had problems with CRT for lunch--since it's changing 2/1 to the photo package, etc. we weren't able to get that ressie but no problems with anything else--in fact, the CM had multiple times available at every restaurant I wanted.
Less than a month to get through before I get back to WDW. Now if I can just find a way to bring DH along, life will be perfect!
