This is my first time posting - so bear with me!

We are booked for ASMU for September 12 - 19 and paid it off today :cool1:. Our flight leaves at an evil time on the Saturday and because of the "you must be there 3 hours preflight" rule - we will have to be at the airport at 3 am. Has anyone booked a room at a hotel near Pearson that has a free shuttle to the airport? Or parking for the week at a reasonable rate? We are trying to decide if it is worth it or just to travel from Durham at like 2 am.

Thanks for any advice!

We are from Ajax too!! We always stay at the Double Tree at Dixon and the 401. We book a park and fly rate at $109 per night. The hotel has a swimming pool, 2 waterslides, restaurants onsite (but we cross the street and go to Squish Allay-swiss chalet). When you check in each person in the room gets a warm chocolate chip cookie yum!!

The shuttle picks you up at the front door and takes you to the airport and then picks you up when you return and drops you off at the hotel. They are used to early flights so a 3 am shuttle is standard for them.

Your car is parked at the hotel while you are away and when you leave the parking lot you simply give them a reciept provided by the front desk and drive away.

There is a great website: parksleepfly.com that offers lots of park and fly rates. We booked with them for our October Disney trip since we are flying out of Buffalo and don't know the area.

Have a great time on your trip!! :goodvibes

Thanks for the quick response! I think we are calling Doubletree tonight to book! And we will probably end up at the Dirty Chicken for dinner too.

I booked here for August and I got it for $94 plus tax on hilton.com, I sure hope the slide is open on a Friday night, my daughter will like that.

I am sure it will be open. Enjoy!! You got a great deal, was it a park and fly rate? I have never got it for less than 109.

Good for you!!

I was surprised at the rate and it has 14 days parking:cool1:, I used to work at a hotel on the Airport strip 6 years ago and park and fly rates were between $150-$199 a night, they must be really hurting this summer.

For the past two weeks I have stayed there, but I didn't use the park n' fly. This week I am across the road at the Holiday Inn. I paid $40 U.S. per night through priceline.com I bid on a room close to the Toronto airport and that's what I got. Great deal!
