If a Disney Visa - Free dining package does become available can you book it online or can you only call to book it? Also If I have a package already booked can I call just to add the discount or can you modify it online? and finally do you just put the 200.00 deposit and get 6 month no interest then do you have to put the full remaining amount of the package on the card by the 45 day mark or can you just put part of the remaining on the card to get 0% interest for 6 months? Reason I ask is we have multiple groups and I only want to put my portion on the card and use other card for the other parties will it allow me to do this and still get the 0 interest on the portion I do put on it?

If they decide to release free dining a few days early to Disney Visa card holders then you have to call Disney resort reservations to book it. You can't do it online. You might be able to have it applied to an existing reservation but the deposit has to have been made using the Disney Visa card. The reservation is treated like any other reservation, with the same payment terms, etc, that any other credit transaction is handled. You can use other cards to pay off your balance. The Disney Visa card is only needed for the deposit.

But they don't always release a discount to Disney Visa card holders first.

Do you know if the name on the credit card has to be the same as the lead person on the reservation?

For example, if I had a sister (which I don't) who does not have a Disney Visa, could I pay the deposit on my credit card to get the early booking advantage and have her pay me back?

Not saying I would do this. My fake sister is a deadbeat.

Serious question, though.

Normally it doesn't matter, but there's a chance a CM would deny using a card that doesn't match since it's a requirement to have one.

9/10 I'd say they won't care.

When they did a Disney visa offer a few years ago I was able to book the offer for myself and my sister. Both rooms had the deposit on my Disney Visa, they just asked me for the card # to confirm. It didn't matter that the second room was in her name and not the Visa cardholders (mine).

Hi all, first time poster. Where are the Disney visa deals posted? I have the regular Disney visa, not the premier. But I can't seem to find anything listed on the rewards website.

Some Disney Visa card holders have reported receiving an email about the sale. But most people find out by keeping on eye on forums like this.

Sadly, I've never received an email and I've been Disney Visa card member for over 11 years :sad2:.

Great news. We're DVC members but I'd like to book for my brother in law on the Visa card if it becomes available.

I have received emails but typically very late in the day the offer comes out, you won't know in advance.

At least you got one, I've never received one email from them about an offer, not once in 11 years!!

You'll usually receive an email, but they also post all of their deals at this link.

Reportedly, these special opportunities for Disney Visa holders have become quite rare - none seen in about 2 years. Which is disappointing, as that is the reason I got a disney visa. Also I am told that there sometimes is an email, but it comes out some time later than the offer begins, not before, so it's minimal "advance" notice.

Also, as I am learning here on these boards, it's not any special offer for Disney card holders - more of advance notice on the deals that go to the general public in the next few days. But as I said earlier, this has not been done for a couple of years now so we are not really expecting it to happen any time soon.

It does not.

My February '15 trip was booked with a Disney Visa deal...and from what I'm seeing on MouseSavers' list, the last time a discount was opened to Visa holders in advance was this past September.

You're right that it isn't anything different than the general public promos though, it just allows you to book it a few days in advance. It's been a nice perk for all of my trips though...and I'm sad to see it wasn't offered with last year's fall promos, and again won't be offered this fall either.
