Hi, we'd quite like to have an evening meal at Cafe Mickey but are unsure about booking. We're thinking that when we get there on the first day we'll go in and try and book for the next day. Do you think this will work? Is it worth it? thanks

We loved Cafe Mickey and so did the children. Its a middle of the range Character Meal. Inventions is more expensive and Cowboy Cookout is cheaper.

We will always have one meal here per trip because we feel thats where we get our character interaction.

In regards to whether to book, it depends if you are going at high season, are flexible with the time you are offered and how large your party. We've never had a problem getting in during quieter times (early June/early Dec) but by the time we leave have seen long lines of people waiting outside.

We are going next week and have decided to eat there twice, with a 19 month old requiring food earlyish we decided to book all our meals, Im not taking the risk in high summer.

I'd book now if I really wanted to go as Café Mickey always seem full and it doesn't cost you anything to make a reservation :)

It'll be August so I guess thats high season. There are only 2 of us, I don't know if that would make it easier to get a seat. Maybe we will book in advance. Thanks

I would be definitely booking for August wether you are 2 or 6. It's peak season and will be booked up fast unless you're not going for the characters and then you'll find room easily between 3 and 5

I talked to mum and we're going to book soon. Like today or tomorrow. Thanks for all the advice

So we did it! Mum phoned them this morning and we got a reservation for an evening meal on the Sunday of our trip! :hyper:
