i was wondering if anyone could help me & tell me in very east terms (!!) how to look into/book a character breakfast, i have read about Cafe Mickey & our 2 yr old is Mickey mouse mad!! so he would love it.

have looked on the official DLP website but cannot find how to see prices/times etc, we have booked half board so i understand we have to upgrade to change to a character breakfast?
if someone could help i would be very grateful :woohoo:

The character breakfast is only availiable at Cafe Mickey.

It runs between 7:30 and 9:30am every day, you can book for any time between those two times however I believe that the character arrive from 8am.

I've got a price of £20 per adult and £10 per child stuck in my head...but if you book it once you are there and upgrade your Hotel breakfast to the Character breakfast I'm sure it works out at around 17 Euros per adult instead.

Hiya,

If you get an official DLRP brochure from your travel agent, all of the info you need is there :) . Until April 09, the cost when you pay in advance for Cafe Mickey breakfast, if you're staying at an onsite hotel, is £12 per adult, £8 per child. This increases from 3rd April 09 to £13 and £10 respectively.
You can add this to your existing Disney booking by calling the normal Disney number - 08448 008 111.

Unless things have changed you book for one of the two above times not for a time between them- there are 2 sittings. We preferred the later sitting as we went in to the park for an hr for EMH to do some rides and then really enjoyed our breakfast

thanks for that, yes i went in earlier & got a broshure to look at the pics  & also saw about the character breakfasts, so with our half board option we pay an extra £12 per adult & £8 per child?

thankyou all for your help:hug:

Yes, the half board vouchers are for lunch or dinner, so your character breakfast is over and above that :) .

I'll bow down to your greater knowledge. I'm just going from the brochure I have on my desk which states

Served daily in Cafe Mickey from 07:30 to 09:30 (seating times must be specified at the time of booking)

What if you have booked only breakfast at the hotel and not Half Board? Can you switch that to a cafe mickey breakfast?

Hi,

You can't switch from your onsite hotel breakfast to Cafe Mickey without paying the supplement I included in my earlier post here - in sterling, and paying in advance, thats currently £12 per adult, £8 per child.

It costs more if you don't book in advance, and it also costs more if you are staying at an offsite hotel.

I don't know what the procedure is if you haven't booked with UK Disney direct though - is there a Greek version of the DLRP official brochure you could look for in a travel agents office near you euapap? The Cafe Mickey information and prices should be in that.

unfortunatelly not :( the travel agents can only book hotels and nothing more. And the hotels booking is much more expensive than they are for english people. that's why I asked a friend of mine in England to book the hotel for us.
And I want to tell her to book the restaurants also, but the only thing that I can find on line is a telephone where you can book in advance.

What time is the earliest sitting? Is it really 7.30?

Tempted to book this for one morning in September as another treat lol.

The first sitting is 7.30 Emma - and I wouldn't recommend it, unless you want to be hanging around in Cafe Mickey for at least half an hour before the characters start coming out at after 8am. Okay I guess if you don't want to do EMH that morning :confused3 . Mind you, I suppose you could book for 7.30 and turn up at 8?

If you want to add anything to a UK-booked DLRP booking, your friend can call 08448 008 111, to add half board, character meals that you want to pay in advance for etc.

Have you tried looking at the official DLRP site, in the English version? There is an e-brochure there, which may have relevant pages you can print off?

Elaine, i will probably still in the hotel room at 7.30am trying to wake myself up.

I wondered how quickly you get seated at breakfast as if i booked for 8am i dont want to wait untill 8.20am to get seated.

We left Cafe Mickey after having our breakfast at around 8.20am, and the restaurant only had about half a dozen tables being used - so if this is for your September trip, I think you'll be fine :)

Thanks Elaine, its for our September trip....thats our last trip for this year lol.

We actually preferred the later sitting Emma as you can do some EMH first then have a late breakfast meaning you can last without much lunch
