Booking a car thru Southwest Air site??

Hi, I am trying to book the SUV special with BUDGET thru the SWA site. I can put in WENDIE'S code D454301 and get the $139. per week rate but when I add a coupon code (tried two different MUGZ codes) it does not take the amount of the coupon off the rental?? Are coupons not allowed thru the SWA site?? I have booked with the code and coupon (MUGZ165 from USAA) at the BUDGET site and got a fantastic rate!! But I was trying to pick up points at SWA. Any insight is appreciated . Joan

Budget does not apply the coupon until the end of the rental.

I would like to know this as well. If I book through carrentalsavers or directly through Budget, the coupon is applied. So is it just with Southwest it is not until the end?

It seems to happen with airline sites. Have no clue why.

You can still get points with SWA. Just enter your SW number to the reservation.

Usually there is a place on the reservation site to add your information, but, if you cannot modify it, give them a call.
