Is there anyway to book/search 2 value rooms (and request joining rooms) online? I wanted to check prices (with tax and fees), tickets, maybe hopper, dining plans.

You have to make special requests over the phone. I would price out the 2 rooms you want separately on the website and then add the totals together. Then when you call you know how much you should expect it to be.

and don't be surprised if you have trouble checking in. We did this for one trip and it took us forever to check in. Requested adjoining rooms on the phone, but when we arrived they said they couldn't do that, blah blah blah, it was a pain. They eventually got us them, but took like 45 min. :sad2: Not that you will have the problem, just giving you a heads up encase you go and they do!

Disney is very picky about their wording. Adjoining rooms are rooms that are side-by-side. Connecting rooms are rooms that are side-by-side and have an inner door that connect them so that you can go back and forth between the rooms without going outside.

I have always had to call to reserve a room with this request.

This is exactly what I did-I figured it up online and then called to reserve, and it was exactly the price quoted. It says guaranteed connecting rooms on my reservation (we'll know in 8 days if that works :) )

Plus if you book 2 rooms online you have to pay 2 deposits. We are 1 family (2a/5children) and so we have to have 2 connecting rooms. I price them out online but then call to make the reservation, that way I only have to pay 1 deposit and all of our dining credits are on one room key :)

That's what we usually do to. This time I am going to be doing 2 different promos for our rooms. It's working out better to do kids stay and play free on 1 room and room only discount on the other.

We have never had an issue with getting connecting rooms, nor have we every had trouble checking in because of it. FYI. I do always request it when booking, and make sure it is on both ressies, as well as call a week before we go.
