Hi all,

When booking 2 rooms online, does the reservation system connect the bookings so you get interconnecting rooms (Newport Bay) or do you get the chance to request this? Do you get one reservation number for the two rooms or one for each?

When we've booked through agents in the past this has always been a request rather than something automatic.

Thanks

Steve

I've never had any success at booking 2 rooms online, I'm not sure why but I always end up with a message requesting that I call my bank purely for security purposes so I've given up booking more than one room online. I ring the booking line and complete my booking and confirm that I would like adjoining rooms and I've never had a problem that way. I'm sure you'll get lots more advice with your booking.

I always have done, it's a pain as I use quidco to earn cashback and obviously doing it over the phone I lose that cashback but I always have my computer open with the price, etc and they've always charged me the same although I think the current 40% off is only available online, you could always ring them and ask their advice ?

I booked the two seperately as it was dearer over the phone and they were not willing to alter the price.
I have since emailed them asking for interconnecting. Travelling Sunday week so will let you know how I got on.

If you don't manage to book interconnecting rooms online, I'd recommend that you book them seperately online and then phone the hotel itself to sort out the connecting rooms.

The hotel numbers are in "the very useful information thread" here -

Good luck, have a great trip - leave some magic for when we arrive in May.

I just said bobbins to the online bit, called the number, talked to Nicole and got the same deal as online!
We now have 2 rooms in the NPB in September and two excited kids.....and three exited adults!

That'll be 4 times in 2 years!!!
