Booking 180+10 question

Hi mastermind! Just reading this thread and trying to wrap my head around the logistics for booking for dining. :)
When you say you had your restaurants set up on your separate screens first to be ready to go does that mean you were using a computer and had them up in different windows?
I ask because I have the my experience app on my iPad so I can't do that and was wondering then if it would be better for me when it comes time to book to use a computer instead?

I didn't have the restaurants set up on separate screens, but I was on my laptop. Here's what I did. The night before I added a credit card to my account. Then at 5:55 am, I made sure I was logged into my account by clicking on my iternary under the my Disney Experience link. Then I went to the day I wanted. In my case, Friday, Oct. 16 because I was trying to CP at 8am and BOG dinner on this day. And then I clicked on the tab that said add plans and chose add dining. Clicking on add dining took me to the dining reservation page. My date I wanted (10/16) was already in the date box and I just chose my time (7:30) and when my computer clock clicked over to 6:00, I hit the search button. 8:05 was available for CP so I booked it. Then went to reservation screen and made sure the date was correct and searched for BOG dinner. I got everything I wanted and most were at the times I wanted.

I have an iPad, but I prefer to use the computer. I can do things faster on the computer. Some people said the app worked for them and others said they had problems. Then again some people experiences problems using the website. I guess I got lucky and everything worked for me.
 
Quick question... We will be going in October for 14 days. My window opens on Monday. So with 180+10 I'm missing four days at the end of the trip. Will I need to call the next day on Tuesday to book day 11? Then do the same on Wednesday for Day 12?

Just finished booking my ADRs, went smoother than I thought it would. Only hiccup I experienced was the last day of my stay wasn't showing up in my windows but after refreshing the pages it was fixed. The multiple screens were the best strategy, I had everything set up and ready to click on Search right at the 6:00 mark. I was so nervous, my hands were sweating, my heart was racing...all this stress because my itinerary depended on when I could get ressies (Sheesh!) SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited that I got all of my must-do's:

Planet Hollywood 6:00
Crystal Palace 8:15 (happy dance!!!)
Rainforest Café (AK) 4:30
Tusker House Safari Breakfast 8:00
TREX 6:00
50's Prime Time 5:00
Biergarten 1:55
San Angel Inn 1:50
O'hana Best Friends Breakfast 7:30 (YAY!!! get to ride the monorail to MK!)
Be Our Guest 4:55 (not the day I originally wanted, but now that I think about it, it'll be a nice final day in MK before we leave)

I know I should be content, but is it wrong that I want to try to get an 8:05 for CP instead??? Anyone else get the reservations they really wanted? I can only imagine how many people were up at 5:00 AM along with me this morning :surfweb:
