Has anyone ever tried to book 15 people for Le Celliar at lunch time. I get to start making ADR's tomorrow and I need to book 15 people on May 30th for lunch.

Thanks,

Jeff

I personally have never booked 15 for any restaurant, actually I think 15 may have been the most we have had down there, but everybody just went off and did their own things.

I have eaten there quite a few times and I have seen large families like yours there, so booking for 15 people should not be a problem. Since LeCellier is really popular call first thing, also if you cannot get a 15 person reservation try breaking it up with like 7/8 or 6/9 for two seperate reservations. This way you can get everybody there, and its just an option in case....Good luck with your ressies tomorrow and hope you don't spend 3 hours on phone like some others have...

For that size party you need to talk to the group reservations, they can transfer you when you call dining (the group people can help you smaller party ADRs after).

since its for tomorrow, you will try and work with the CM you get - for group reservations they only let you have the first booking times - not sure when LeCellier opens for lunch - but that's your best bet..

btw - when we were there a group of 10 - 12 came in and they were split up (the "lady" that got the ressies was very angry at the CM saying that they can make it work, they should not be split up - that customer went so far as to tell another couple at a table for 4 that they were "finished" eating and move them so she could have her party all together -

we were shocked - but in that case, the squeaky wheel got the oil, and they were eventually seated together)

Yes for a party of 15 you will have to do a group booking and yes they do put large parties at opening. We had to do this for Kona and Jiko. I actually had to talk to someone at Jiko to make the ressie.
