We are about to book our DLP trip for this upcoming October. I'm celerating my 40th birthday there. Just wondering if we should hold off booking to wait and see if there are better booking deals coming. Any suggestions? This is our first trip and surprises of surprises, there are no CDN travel agents who book DLP trips.

You never know if a better deal comes up. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. If you are happy with the price you should book.

There's a chance you could call DLP if a better deal comes up and ask for upgrade. It depends on CM if you can get one.

If you are looking for 4 nights then you won't get better than the current offer (2 nights free) which means 50% off. If you want less time or more then you will probably get a 30% off for the better hotels later on. The current offer runs out on Monday. :thumbsup2

for October this year the buy 2 nights get 2 nights free runs out on the 24th but it will be replaced with up to 30% off and free HB on the 25th.

The buy 2 nights get 2 nights free doesn't work out 50% off, as you get 2 night and 2 days free but you pay for 2 nights and 3 days.

There is no knowing what will replace the 30% offer, could be better could be worse.

Sorry for using this thread but I was thinking about that question too.

For a 5 or 6 night stay...what will be the better offer:

2 days/nights free or 30%/40% off ?

I guess the 30/40% offer will be better. Am I right ?

:confused3

yes, 30/40 comes better if you plan longer stay. I always book with offers like that, because 2 free doesn't price less. It might be good enough for 5 night stay, but not 6 night stay.
Oh, and one more funny thing. Same offer, same dates, same details different sites and different prices :confused3

We booked our November trip almost two months ago, under the early booking winter offer, 2 nights and days free, on our four night star at the DLH we didn't think we could get a much better price ;)

Sorry to ask but the offer that's on at the minute 2 nights free I see it says book by the 24th will I still be able to book tomorrow on the 24th?

2 nights free does work out 50% off as they charge you per night not per day, don't they?

last time i worked it out (based on the full price for 4 nights after the offer ended) 2 nights free on a 4-night stay worked out at just under 40% off. Still a good deal imo, and of course if an even better deal comes out later you can upgrade.
