Finally managed to get booked up for October :cool1:

I've been watching flights and hotel prices for ages and finally decided today to just go for it. :thumbsup2

Can't get decent flights from Glasgow, times or price - nearly £1000!! Got decent flights from Liverpool so we'll be leaving from there - flights approx £350.00, so a massive saving.

We'll arrive in the evening of the first night so will miss the first day, but don't need to leave until after 5pm on the last day so will make up for it. Also, I've worked out that even if we just booked 3 nights and then stayed offsite, we wouldn't save much as we need 2 rooms - so I'm quite happy to be staying at Hotel New York for the whole 4 nights :)

I think we're going to try and squeeze a day in Paris too as we'll be there for longer.

This is my big birthday celebration and our eldest DS is coming too - I'm so happy to finally have got this booked :goodvibes

Great news and very exciting. I could be very tempted with offer of 2 nights free, also my shareholder runs out end of October and would love to use it one last time. Hopefully there will be a new ride and restaurant by then too! Where will you go for special birthday meal? :cheer2:

Yey Julie, happy holiday planning :cool1:!

Great news Julie :thumbsup2
Still trying to book the Eurostar for mine not stressing at all.
All the best people want to celebrate their 40th at disneyland paris
Xxx

Thank all :)

I won't be there on my actual birthday, need to book to match our school holidays - w/c 12th so hopefully won't be too busy either. I don't have any meal plans as yet. Just so excited to have another trip in the planning - I've even booked Ezyshuttle for transfers too :lmao:

My Shareholder card runs out in September which is a bit of a pain - can't decide whether to renew or not  But I will really miss the meal discounts if I don't.

How exciting. I'm hoping to celebrate my 40th in DLP next year too, even if I don't make it on the actual day.

I just had to renew my shareholders card. I love knowing that I own a little piece of DLP and I'd really miss my trips to Salon Mickey.

Honestly, whilst Salon Mickey is nice, we often don't have time to visit - we didn't last time. But I do enjoy the discounts for meals. I need to buy another 80 shares to qualify for the club next time. I might buy them in chunks over the next few months...can't decide :scratchin

Would it be cheaper to take one adult off the booking and but an annual pass. That way you get 10% off in CS and table service restaurants and 10% off in shops. The difference in parice for one adult usually covers the cost. Just a thought

It's probably too late for this trip but have you considered getting an annual pass for the discounts? It would probably be cheaper to get one for one of you than including them in the package.

Congrats on your booking:thumbsup2

I think we might stay in HNY in September as well I might have some questions at some point, I might have to reread your trip reports:flower3:

I did think of the annual pass, but as there are 4 adults over 2 rooms, it doesn't take anything off the price really as the room rates are based on at least 2 adults per room anyway.

Yes, we were there around the same time in 2010. I loved the themes and the low crowds.

its surprising how quiet it is. We loved meeting the villains too, Jem was dressed as Alice so the queen of hearts was all about her threatening beheading!

we are at hotel new York that week too :) might see you around :) we are flying from Glasgow this time instead of Edinburgh as it was better flight times as a couple pound cheaper

You must have been quick with the flights - crazy prices this year :scared1:

Yes, I think so. Price for 5 of us was just under 1k! We paid less than half of that last year.
