Booked with CAA/AAA can I do 180+10 online?

Hi there..sorry if this question has already been asked and answered..tried to find it but to no avail...

If I book with CAA(that's AAA in Canada), can I do my own ADR's online at 180+10 using the ressie number they give me? I know for most things the ressie is owned by the agent until like 10 days out or something...but does this pertain to ADR's as well?

Do you have a reservation number? Then yes. You need that; if you don't have one, call your Travel Agent and explain why you need it.

Yeah, I'll be getting a ressie number..but I know that Disney won't deal with that number until it transfers to them about a week out..so just wondering if that affects ADR's online?

No - you do NOT need your reservation number!

I'm booked with a TA (Ontario, Canada) and I can make my own dining reservations either online or over the phone.

I made a list for my TA for my 180 day mark, but now as we revise our plans - I'm revising them on my own. I can cancel and book as I please.

You will need the reservation number to open up 180+10 (since they fixed that glitch), but yes, you can certainly make your own dining reservations utilizing the on-site perk even with booking through a 3rd party. Again, so long as you have the Disney reservation number and it's linked to an on-site stay, you can book 180+10. For other changes and all that, you'd have to go through the TA.

As a note, you do not need a Resort Reservation number when booking within 180days from date of dining. It's only used to determine if you're eligible for 180+10 (and some Dining Plan stuff for pre-paid locations)
