Booked WDW hotel direct with Disney - how long will it take for the confirmation.....

I booked direct with Disney by phone 2 weeks ago and just wondered how long it would take for the confirmation to arrive - as I don't want the kids to see it-they don't know that we are staying onsite!!

When I book with DVC which is a little different it usually takes 2-3 weeks

Before we were DVC members our confirmation used to take between 10-14 days to arrive.

When we booked direct last year we didn't receive a written confirmation at all.

When I booked last year it took about 3 weeks for our confirmation to arrive!!

If you book with Disney direct in the US, you don't get confirmation. If you use the UK WDW travel o, it usually takes a couple of weeks, or in some cases you get the paperwork 2-3 weeks before you go

This is correct. I never receive confirmation from the USA when booking via CRO - once I even requested it but the CM told me that they do not sent them overseas.
