Booked VGC at 7 Month - Views?

I'm pretty much doing the happy dance as I was able to book VGC at the 7 month window this morning in a studio for 6 nights (end of April/early May).

That being said, I am freaking out about the views. I would love a theme park view. Is there a list of rooms or a clear map floating around with room numbers so I can put in a request?

The list I use for studio views is in this order. Others might have a slightly different order, but here's mine...

6504,5504,4504,3504, 5510, 4510, 3510

The "10s" don't have a WOC view although they do face the park.

Thanks so much. This was my exact list. I was considering 2520 as well. (Might be too low) WOC view would be nice, but not necessary. Almost afraid my kids won't got to bed!

We stayed in 1520? Somewhere along that wall there, may have been a few rooms down. Anyway, that would put you right by Goofy's Sky School, iirc. I think you may need to go up a floor, maybe 3520 and up for a better view.

Very. We usually get one of the top few, but we usually book at 11 months and I've been told they go by first come first served.

On our last trip we added a night at the start of the previously booked trip, but did that about 3 months before we went. We got a first floor studio facing the pool! It was because when I added that night I sort of eliminated my early booking requested rooms and was at the bottom of the list.

Worked out fine, though. It was sort of nice having a quiet room (we were there for the Dumbo Double Dare so a lot of early days) because with WOC view rooms. esp when they have two shows, it gets really loud!

My son stayed this year at the end of April/early May. I'm an owner but this was a last minute trip, by DVC standards, so I booked less than a week before the 7 month date. A few weeks later, I decided to gift him two more nights but had to waitlist. The waitlist came through at about the 6 month mark, I put in my room requests around the 5 month mark, and he was given studio 5504.

I agree with the rooms suggested by a PP but I added 5516 and 5509 to the bottom of my list. I wanted those options over any first and second floor rooms. Just my personal feelings. If you haven't already, check out the thread mentioned an the earlier post.

And just as an FYI, when he was there for the DL Half in 2011, I didn't put in any room request at all yet he was given 6504, arguably the best studio available.

Second one should be 5504.

I did the room # list for my trip last month and it worked, we got 4502 for a 1 bedroom with a park/world of color view.

We've requested specific villa numbers and never been disappointed. Goofy's Sky School (yes you are that close) and World of Color (we could feel the fire heat from our balcony) can be loud so keep that in mind. Good luck!
