Booked today for Marathon week 2014!!

We already had the SSR Tree House Villa booked, but today our 7 month window opened to book outside our home resort. We were able to get a one-bedroom Savanna view at Kidani. We wait listed for two bedrooms at BC and BLT. If either of those come through, great; if not, I think the kids will love seeing the animals. The MS rep commented how quickly the reservations were changing, especially at BLT. Getting excited already!!

Did anyone else book today? Did you get what you wanted?

We booked from the 8th through the 13th, but we wanted and got 2 bedroom at OKW. The extra studio we wanted for 2 days was harder to get, but that waitlist came through for us.

My family participated in the Marathon events in 2012 and we were at Kidani. It was a wonderful experience, no complaints about bus service or anything. I just wanted to use fewer points this time, we were staying longer and had more people, so 2 villas to book.

If we ever do this again, we really want BLT for the marathon day, since the marathon runs right past it. We bought at BLT earlier this spring, but it was too late to get the rooms there for the whole time. Also, wanting to use fewer points than BLT LV required was also a factor. I really want SV when I book there. Well, either that or we need more BLT points!
