If we leave on the 3rd it has to be late afternoon, the 4th anytime. That WJ flight looks quite tempting, but DH doesn't want to take another vacation day. Taking one full day versus a half day, figure that one out. I was the same thing when we went last September, he didn't want to take a whole week, so we went for six days.

322 per person one way may be good for canada, i have no idea, we live near the border and fly out of buffalo which is usually around 375 round trip for two adults total if you wait for proces to drop

Not everyone lives close to a large U.S. border city. Those of us who don't have to deal with Canadian prices.

Driving to the US is really not an option, it would take 6 hrs there and 6 hrs back, wasting almost 2 days of warm weather. Last year we booked in June and paid around $500. with Continental. That is a doable price. We paid about the same to come home on WJ. By the time you figure your gas, meals and possibly an overnight, you have to get an exceptional price to fly out of the US. If we were only 2-3 hours away it would be worthwhile.
