Booked previously - amend for free dining?

Hi

I have already booked WDW for Sep next year but now there is free dining on offer. Does anyone know if they will add this to the booking as an amendment or if I’ll need to cancel, lose the deposit and re-book?

I can’t amend myself and have been on hold for 2hrs 40mins and I called as soon as the line opened

Anyone any experience of this?

You might be on hold for a while, dont give up! This is the craziest ive ever seen free dining before!! The queue to get into the website was at 16,000 at one point. If you cant add it to your booking, try booking your same holiday again and just cancelling the previous booking, you might lose your deposit but youd spend way more then £100 on food anyway. If you have booked a moderate resort, id recommend upgrading the full dining plan for about £400 more, as its well worth it for the sit down restaurant meals as you can easily spend $100 in one meal with 2 people in some of the restaurants x

Yeah I waited over 4hrs on the contact number for the UK then got cut off I’ve sent a couple of emails but I am tempted to just re-book so I don’t miss out
