Booked our first DCL cruise

So very excited. We are seasoned cruisers. 32 total cruises on Royal, Princess and Carnival. Most on Carnival. We take our grand kids on vacation. The 2 - 6 year olds have done 3 the 14 has done 7 and every time they cruise that disney ship always seems to be right beside us and every time they ask-- can we go on that ship. I tell them when I hit the lottery.

Found an awesome deal on Disney dream for August 2021 in delux ocean view cabins. 5518/5522 (hope these were not mistakes.

We dont tell the kids about vacations until we arrive. Always heading out on secret adventures.
This vacation when we wake them it will be to go on a DREAM vacation. They will know when we arrive at the pier.

Was 5520 not available? 5520 and 5522 are connecting rooms, which makes moving around easier. But it sounds like you're going to have a great time either way. I've been on the Dream and going again soon, and it's a great ship. Have fun!

We booked the last three of that category. Will be keeping my eye on the 22 hoping to grab it if it comes available

Do you mean August 2020? I don't think there are any deals out yet for August 2021 cruises. Unless you mean just a good price generally, which can be true especially later in August when a lot of kids are back in school and it is closer to peak hurricane season.

I love the big porthole rooms--it is so fun for kids to sit in the porthole and look out. You can see all the way down to the ocean... we even saw a big sea turtle swimming next to the ship one time. You'll love it. The Dream is amazing.

They are out through September 2021. I am anxiously awaiting the next release because we want to go in October 2021! Supposed to be out this week if things were "normal" so not sure when they will release the next batch.
