Booked Nick Hotel for October

We are going the last week of October and I was thinking about booking here for the last night or 2 of our trip. Is there any transportation from the hotel to the airport as we won't have a rental car? Will the weather still be warm enough for the kids to enjoy the pool (the main reason we would stay there)?

Thanks for the Shades of Green code! Booked a 2 Bedroom Suite for 9/10-9/12 for $149 and no resort fee. I got the Fairly Odd Parents room since Spongebob would have been $179.

It seems lots of people have called. I'm glad I posted it! We too got the Fairly Odd Parents. I couldn't see $30 just for Spongebob. Actually when I called and posted about the Shades of Green code, I was offered $149 for the themed room, since I was paying $249 + resort fee, I thought it was GREAT deal....then I see you all post that the other room is $99. I wish I had booked that, but I have already told the kids about the bunk beds, character theme, and PlayStation in the room..... I may talk to them and see about getting the $99 room....my son LOVES Lego's...so I may copy whoever said they were using that as leverage!!!!! LOL

we're supposed to be at BWV for 2 nts but just in case that falls through, I wanted to have something so I booked the one bdrm for $99, we've had it before and actaully like it better than the 2 bdrm. You get your own kitchen with fridge and a stove and a few dishes. As for the themes, this will be our 4th time and there's so much theming every else around the resort, the kids don't really notice it's not in there room;) I have to say this is the cheapest we've ever had it. Last year, we got it for $99 as well but had to pay the resort fee as well:( I just wanted to say, thanks again!

I wanted to book the 1 bedroom, but they told me I couldn't because I have 5 people in my party. One of them is an infant so I'm wondering if I should call back and see if someone else will let me book the 1 bedroom..

FYI ~ the Shades of Green code is still active! Just booked one night at $99 plus tax (no resort fee) for August :cool1: We chose the king-size suite (1 bed plus pull-out sleeper sofa). The twin-bed/bunkbed theme suite was $149 plus tax.

I was also really happy to find out that guests have full access to all facilities starting at 11:30am day of check-in through 3pm the day of check-out.

This will be a great start to our vacation (and a wonderful way to end our loooonnnggg drive)!

I got in on a promo, but the price I booked at was still high. I'm hoping for lower prices and I will switch my vacation.

WE are staying 6 nights in October. 4 nights are at $179. 2 Nights are at $229. Every day we get a $50 food credit to use in the hotel, even at Dominos. I figured that since I am going anyway I should book this "just okay" promo. THe daily $50 food credit is a nice bonus. I have seen that same credit given when the rooms are offered at $129, so I'm hoping October rates lower.

im going in oct where and how did you get this price? is this for the 2bed kid suite thanks

Does anyone know if the shades of green code is still active?? Online they are showing no available rooms next June. Do I just need to call and hope they have something??

The site says at the top where you're putting in the dates that you need to call for ressie after March 15, 2009.

Sign up for Holiday Inn's Priority Member. Last year we had a ressie and since I took my laptop to FL while we were at my MILs, I was able to take advantage of a great $99 rate that opened up suddenly and switch our ressie. When we got there, they upgraded me from 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom since I was a Priority Member.
