Booked my plane tickets today! But...

Our flight back to Seattle isn't until 7pm. We're staying at the Disneyland Hotel and I think the checkout time is 11am? We don't have DL tickets for that day (Fri Oct 12.), so what is there to do between 11 and 5? 6 hours in DTD is a lot.

You could shop. Go to a movie. Have a character meal at Goofys.

Personally, I wouldnt "waste" the day. I would spend the $10 per person and add a day on to my park hopper. That is too many hours to be that close to the parks and not go.

I already bought the park hopper through the website when I booked my trip. Is there any way to add to it now?

You can add to them now or at the park. You just need to do it before the end of the final day of use. So, if you have a 3 day hopper, you need to upgrade before the end of day 3. If you bought through Disney travel, you can do it at the travel office in DTD. They are open daily until 5pm.

Oh, just realized, $10 is if its a 4 day going to 5 day. If you have 3 day, going to 4 day, it might be $20 per person. Still not a bad price for the 8-9 hours you would have in the park.

Another idea is to go to a movie in DTD and spend some time at the ESPN Zone. That coupled with lunch should use up your time!

What airport are you flying out of? If it's anything other than SNA, I would leave DLR at about 3:30 or 4:00, Friday afternoon rush hour traffic is going to be really bad.

I never realised this about "adding on" to hoppers!

We have 5 day park hoppers (not bought through Disney). Can someone talk me through how to add an extra day when we are there? Where do I go? Will it be $10pp? Are kids the same price? Is there a deadline for doing this?

You need to add on no later then the end of the last day your pass is valid. So, on a 5 day hopper you need to do it before closing on the 5th day of use. YOu should be able to do it at the ticket window. If you purchased from costco or disney travel you can do it at the travel office in DTD. On a 5 day hopper it should be $10 per day, per person.
