:cool1:We live in Oakville but always fly out of the US with a family of 5. This year only 4 of us since my son is in college now with different break. We have flown out of Pittsburgh, Detroit and Buffalo. Found a good deal with AllegiantAir today from Youngstown to St. Pete's Clearwater for $44.00 each way or $124.37 rt incl taxes. Total for 4 of us is $497.48. Leaving Sat Mar 12th and returning Sat Mar 19th. I checked Sunwing since they fly from Pearson to St.Pete's Clearwater airport as well and total for March break was over $2700.00. I don't like the extra baggage fees to we just bring a carry on bag for the 1 week in the Florida sunshine and opt for open seating to avoid those seat fees. I have 2 teenagers anyhow so no big deal if we don't get 4 seats together. Now to find a condo on the beach!

How does everyone find such great deals? We want to try flying this time as we have driven the past 3x and I just want to relax, but the cheapest we seem to find is around $200 each return.
Is it cheaper to fly out of another airport other than Buffalo? Is it cheaper to fly into somewhere other than Orlando? We plan on renting a car when we are there, so driving is not an issue for us. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. We are going at the beginning of Sept for 10 nights but can add or subtract from those nights.

Maybe I should start my own thread so I am not hijacking yours! Congrats on the great deal!
