After seeing how cheap a trip would be with the free dining, I decided to go ahead and book instead of booking the cruise we were planning which would have been a lot more. We are staying at the Pop Century for just a little over $1200 for the week for the two of us (DH and I)!! So, last night I read the boards pretty much the whole night...so I of course dreamed about Disney. I am mad because I can't remember what it was about and I am sure if it was a Disney dream it was a good dream darn it!! Anyway, I am a little worried about when we are going (9/4-9/11) because of love bugs/heat/crowds (in that order). We were there last year for a day at Epcot during the food and wine festival and it was disgusting trying to eat with the love bugs all in your face. They weren't that bad I guess just other than the fact that it seemed like the wrong time to have a food festival with all the bugs out. I'm still very excited anyways though because we just took our trip from a over $3000 vacation to one around $2000!

I'll be there that week too!!! I just booked free dining at WL for a short trip. 9/8 to 9/12. My birthday is 9/11. My DH told me that we could not go to WDW this year - but we are going TWICE !!!:cool1:

Sept is a long time from now!!! :sad2:

It does seem like a long time away. It will be here before you know it though!! We will also be there for my birthday on the 5th! I have planned my birthday out already....going to Downtown Disney and then maybe the outlets, then dress up to go to dinner at Jiko at 5:40, then the Cirque at 9, followed by Pleasure Island. I can't wait!! Oh and we ate at the Wilderness Lodge on one of our recent trips and I was really surprised by how much I loved it! We go to the mountains (Pigeon Forge) pretty often so I was thinking that it wouldn't impress me too much but it was beautiful!! It seemed so much more relaxing and less chaotic than all the other resorts (deluxe included). Enjoy it...it is beautiful!!!

Where did you eat at the Wilderness Lodge? I am intersted in taking my my to dinner while we are at Disney in Sept. I think she would like to see the lodge, even though we aren't staying there for our trip.

My hubby and I will be there also during September at Pop and coincidentally we were also looking at doing a cruise this year. But I couldn't resist the temptation of a week at WDW with the dining plan. What a deal! Now I can't wait for September to get here. :cheer2:

YorkieMommyKandis - do you live in TN? I ask because we also go to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge at least once a year.
