We were not supposed to be going until next July but decided to go for half term later this month.

Took a lot of hassle booking, I knew the flights I wanted but couldn't buy them, they were on AA.com at $2,278 perfect times. All the UK sites were over £700pp, could get cheaper but really bad times. Decided to try book on AA.com spent loads of time entering all the info, passport numbers, credit card etc got to buy now for it to give me a page saying as I am in UK and not US the price is £2,246 (same as all UK agents)
Spent hours today trying to get around it, then had a brainwave, Orbitz.com, used them before and paid in $'s. Exactly what I wanted $2,310, just $32 more but no booking fees.
So they work out at £493/seat but gives us almost 10,000 miles each on our A-Advantage accounts, more than what we need to get 3 free nights hotel next August which will save us about £150-180.

Now need to book hotel near Heathrow, Meet & Greet, MNSSHP, Hotel in Orlando, Car hire..... We go fri 21st for 7 nights.:cloud9:

Lucky you, have a fun time!

It never occured to me to look on the US websites, but since I'm not really willing to fly indirect I don't think any bargains will pop up for the days I want to go

Knew you get something in the end - couldn't see you waiting until July :thumbsup2

Didnt think you would be going back before I had my holiday:rotfl2:

But still not there at the same time as us. Which MNSSHP :rotfl2: are you doing?

Have a good time:thumbsup2

Where you staying this time?

Thats great Im sure you will have no problem finding all the other things you need :)

Direct has got too expensive for me unfortunately, OK if using miles but regular fares are too high. The dates we want this month VA are asking £2,499.87, approx double what I paid plus we get to do immigration before landing in Florida, saves a bit of time. We arrive at 4:45pm not much different to direct.:goodvibes

Whoop! :cool1:

(We love AA - just because they serve pizza!)
It was the 1st thing I said after booking, "we get to eat the AA pizza again" :rotfl2:

Hopefully going to book Tuesday 25th Oct. I will only do midweek parties, too busy on a weekend.
Still not look at hotels, my aim around LBV £30-35/night incl net & breakfast lets see how I do.

Just booked cheapie Heathrow hotel, Travelodge £28.71(one with free parking:rotfl:) also booked Meet & Greet £54 :thumbsup2

I didn't think you would wait until July- but I also didn't think you would be going back so soon. Did you even bother to unpack your suitcase since getting back from the last one? Have you even got over your jet lag yet :lmao:

Anyway Happy Planning Wayne. You know where to come if you have any questions :rolleyes1

The problem we have is this is our only chance before next July, Matt has Alevel exams & AS level resit in Jan which makes Xmas a no go, Feb half term is Valentines day & Easter falls right in the middle of school hol, I can't have time off for either, May half term in middle of any final exams. So it was now or nothing.

Found a great price for hotel we like to stay at, Country Inn & suites LBV, everything we want, free breakfast, free net, free parking but just read tripadvisor and there is building work going on(changing to Fairfield Inn I believe), sent them an email see what stage they are at because at about £29/night its a bargain. Found 4 more but we like CI&Suites.

Great news!
Looking forward to MNSSHP pics. It's a thing we have got on our todo list.

PE or Biz class not bothered.....All of August .......Anything up to £400 will do :rotfl: :thumbsup2

Have a great time - new you would find something!

We are there from 14th for 14 nights.
