:cool1: 2 A's 3 K's room w/ trundle bed works for us (4 nights)

Has any FLORIDA RESIDENT ever pitted the package rates against the pieces separately (room, tickets, etc) ?? What was your results.

Historically first few weeks of Jan every year get FL discounts/rates for rooms only.

One CM told me what could be done is put the room on FL resident, buy 3 day play pass, which is currently $120 per adult for FL Res, AND but one base ticket per person while adding the dining option. We have an extra ticket then, but the FL discounts outweigh that. Sound right??

We always do our trips with everything separate and it's much cheaper than any of the package deals. We have seasonal APs which now start out as a Play 3 pass (you can upgrade up to 6 mths after you activate your Play 3 and the AP is good from the date you activated your Play 3). We did this after getting Play 3 passes in Jan. of this year. Made it easier to pay since we only had to pay half the rate of a seasonal AP when we got our Play 3 APs. (does that make sense?)

We always wait for an AP or FL resident rate special to be released before we book our rooms and we are DDE members so we don't have to keep track of our dining. I have done the math in the past and it always comes out cheaper to do it this way. We usually take 4 or 5 day trips about 3-4 times a year so this is the better value for us.

What exactly do you mean by saying you don't have to worry about dining? I'm too familiar with DDE, but thought it was just a discount.
