Just wanted to share my happiness, ive booked at trip to WDW in 93 days!
Bit of background, went to WDW for 1st time in 2005, had a good time, didnt really do the rides as im a wimp, but wanted to go back asap.
Left my job/career as a registered nurse, to go work as a waitress in Pizza Hut. Saved all my tips for 6 months, had enough money to pay for a 7 day holiday in December 2007 for me, my OH and my brother. They tried the rides for 1st time, and found themselves to be ride fanatics. However, OH thought it would be a few years before he wanted to, or could afford to go back
Fast forward to this year. Our local supermarket has a loyalty card. You earn points for each £ you spend. You can spend your points instore, or against a holiday with Virgin Holidays (a british vacation company) So i saved and saved and saved. Finally had over £2000. Planned to book a holiday for December 2008. However in July, I split with my OH. Some very low times followed, and obviously my vacation couldnt go ahead.
Anyway, we are now back together , having a good time, enjoying eahc others company.
On the night we got back together, he said to me. "You know, id love to go back to WDW"
So last week i booked our holiday, with all my loyalty points Id saved. 9 nights in Pop with flights from London to MCO. Only had to pay £23!!!!!!!!!
So things are looking up. Ive got my OH back, and Ive got a trip to plan
Now i need to go update my ticker. Woooo
