And cant wait to start planning!!

Our timeshare, Worldmark, is opening a location down the road from DL (within walking distance from what I read). It is right next down the Gardenwalk (I think I have the name right, could be wrong). A couple of questions for the pros here!!

1 - I spend hours on the disboard before trips doing my own planning. But I havent tried the planning websites/software before. Is it worth it to do TGM or Ridemax? I know the specifics for dates wont be up for quite a while, but would getting them now to play with benefit me?

2 - We did spring break 2005 in DL and the only downside I remember is the awful drive we had. We stayed in Oceanside near family and drove back and forth for 4 days. I dont remember extremely long lines when utilizing fast passes and touring tips from the disboards. Am I having amnesia because I am so excited to go? Is it worse than I remember?

3 - Anyone else planning for mid March 09 to obsess with me???! Our dates are March 16-21!!

TGM is Tour Guide Mike, a Ridemax type website (but more detailed IMO) for WDW. It sponsors the Theme Parks and Attractions forum.

My family owns Worldmark too and are very excited for the new place opening up. Be sure to post a review of the place when you come back!

TourGuideMike is excellent, but TGM is only for WDW...

I don't know your family make-up, but it would definately be too far for us. It is slightly over a mile from the new WorldMark to the Disneyland gates. Approximately the same as the Dolphin's Cove (the old WorldMark).

Please post a review when you get back. We're staying at Dolphin's Cove next year (just couldn't do the extra points) but if it's really great...

We upgraded last year to a higher point level and wanted to try it! I originally heard it was closer than some parking at DL, then heard it was a few blocks, the distance keeps getting longer!! We will have dh and I, ds3 and ds5 and my parents.
