Booked for our first trip to the Fort!

We booked our spot for our first trip to the Fort for June. I am sooo excited! We have never pulled our tt that far. We booked a premium site but past that I'm not sure exactly what loop we should request. I think I have read so much I'm in reading overload. I think we are more concerned with the width of the site to make sure we have room for our son's wheelchair. . For now our plan is to only go to MK but we are also going to Universal and maybe Kennedy so being next to the bus stop isn't a huge must. I do want to go to Disney Springs maybe once. We are not renting a golf cart as we will have our bikes. Looking forward to talking with fellow campers!

I feel the same way as you! I'm definitely on reading overload. We are going to the Fort for the first time in August. It's also the furthest we've ever pulled our camper. I'm not sure where you're coming from, but have you looked into stopping at some campgrounds on the way down? You'll get some great advice from the more experienced Fort campers here. We're concentrating on Universal this time and after the price hike, decided to forgo the one day ticket for a Disney park. Have a great trip!

I was so upset about the price hike. I told my husband I was going to get the tickets before they jumped and of course missed it by one day. I'm having a hard time only doing MK as I want to go to all of the parks. But I also want some Fort time too. We will be coming from Gatlinburg. We kind of messed up as it would have been better to stop over at Gatlinburg from Florida but the Gatlinburg trip was planned first with friends. We are pulling straight from Gatlinburg to the Fort. We live in Ohio.

Happy first trips! I will definately post pictures! Is there any way to just post pictures from my phone to the forum? Or do I have to download on my computer first?

Congrats on your first trip to the Fort. You will have a great time. The price hike stinks, but it is kind of an annual thing.

I use the Photobucket app on my phone when I post to the forum on my phone. It is really easy to upload the pics from my phone to Photobucket. Most of the time I use my laptop or my iPad, but I still use Photobucket to keep the pics available.

Humm I might have to check out the Ipad or Iphone if they have one app for photobucket Is there any other easy way?

If you are taking pictures from your Phone and you want to Upload them, in the area where you type your message, one of the buttons is "Upload a file" which will allow you to navigate the file system of your Phone to select the picture for uploading. I can certainly say it does work for Android phone and I suspect it would also work on iPhone/iPad as well.

You don't need photobucket, but you can certainly use it. I don't use it but I am pretty sure then you have to have the "Image" URL to put in the post.
