Booked for Christmas!

Hi all!

I've just booked to go to DLP just before Christmas (yay!). I have a couple of questions that I hope someone may be able to help with.

I've booked HNY and opted for the standard room. Is this a good option or should I try and upgrade to Plaza room before the current offer ends.

Also, I know Carriecat did put some info up a while ago about day trips to Paris. I can't find it though! Can anyone point me in the right direction or recommend somewhere to look for good guides/day trip ideas?
