The reverse of a post that I just saw! We need to add a person to a ADR for Tusker House breakfast on Dec 6th and it is booked solid. Will they allow me to add my infant son as a walk-up when we get there? I wouldn't think they would turn me away...but it's stressing me out beyond no end!!!!

Anyone try it?!?!

I had that happen to me at Ohana's. For some reason I had reserved for 1 less than I actually needed.. and didn't realize it until I had checked in at the restuarant..they accomodated me no problem and it was an adult. But I know what you mean..it would stress me out not knowing either. Did you ask the CM when you called to modify if they would turn you away? I guess it would matter the age of the child.

It's my son (who will be 10 months) and when I asked over the phone she said that we would be turned away - every person need a reservation, even if they don't eat yet. :headache:

It is a risk for sure. Of course try it, but don't set your hopes on it.

Hopefully there will be room and it will be no problem, but again have a back up plan.

This has happened to us too... Don't worry about it! You're going to drive yourself crazy for no reason ... I do this a lot ... You will have no problems. When you go to check in for your reservations give them the correct number. They will NOT turn you away by any means :)

I'm facing the same issue. I made my reservations without realizing I needed to count my infant son who will also be 10 months when we go.

The lady was able to modify 2 of my reservations and I did a 3rd. I still have 3 booked for 2 though. She told me the only way I'd be turned away is if letting us in would be a fire code violation, but more than likely we would just have to wait a bit longer.

I'm still trying to redo the ones that are left (and one of them is Tusker House) but it is what it is. I'm just not going to tell my daughter about those 3 until I know we'll get in.

I wish you the best and from what I have been told and the attitude of the CM's I have spoken to this happens a lot with infants.

The best thing is to keep trying to change your ADR from 2 people to 3 people. If that doesn't work, show up for your ADR early, and explain what your issue to the Cast Member. Hopefully they will be able to seat you, but there is no guarantee of it.
