I just booked our flights for next April. I've only flown once before and that was with an e-ticket because it was very last minute.

Since I booked so far ahead this time, will I get a boarding pass or another form from Delta before the departure date? Thanks! :flower:

I doubt you will get a boarding pass in the mail. You have to check in first. You can do that on line up to 24 hours before your flight or wait until you get to the airport. One of the easiest ways is to curb check your luggage if yu already have a seat assignment. The porters will give you a boarding pass right there.

did you book online? If so, it will be an eticket. Unless you requested that Delta send you something in the mail all you will get is what you needed to print out at the end of the transaction.
If you did not print this out and if you did not write down your reservation number, you will need to call Delta and get the number from them, then access the reservation online and print it out.
Another way is if you reserved with a Delta Sky miles number you can probably access your reservation by clicking on the itenaries button.

Oh, Okay. Thanks! I did book online and print off all the confirmations for our tickets. I suppose I just take all of those to the ticket counter and they will print off boarding passes for us!?!

Sorry if this was stupid question.

Thanks again though. :D

Not a stupid question at all. You can also take all that information to the sky cap and they can print out your passes and take care of your luggage.

The last thing you want to do is show up at the airport and they tell you they need your boarding pass. Smart to play it safe

They don't ask for your boarding pass until you get to security. They may ask for your confirmation at the ticket counter or skycap kiosk.

We didn't get a boarding pass when we booked Delta, DH had a printout that he got via email (I think, booked through a TA), and we took that to the curbside checkin, and that's where we got our boarding passes.
