Booked BWV Pool/Garden View--Feel like I will be wasting precious points?

We always book garden/pool view at BWV. I could have booked standard for next year's trip but we we really enjoy seeing the canal & the relaxing atmosphere of the quiet pool area.

You won't be disappointed at all. All the p/g rooms at Boardwalk have nice, relaxing views and guarantee you won't be stuck next to the roadway, or worse yet, the baggage delivery area (beep, beep, beep).~ David

Not at all, just spent a week in a p/g view room in Dec. and loved the relaxing view of the main pool from the balcony. Not the BW view but not too far off. My wife actually had trouble sleeping in our bw view room for the noise on the boardwalk a couple nights. No problem here though. You will be fine with it, I would guess

I adored my Luna Park View!

So much so that even though we will be trying for Boardwalk view nexy NYE, I'll be ok with pool if I can be here again!

Agree about the baggage delivery area...we had that once ....thank goodness it was a short 2 night trip

We also have experienced the beep, beep, beep....for an entire week. My hubby especially hated the bam,bam,bam that went with it. The CM's would drag these huge metal bins down the stairs at 6 am every morning.. We are hoping to never experience that again!

ging in mid-y and booked a 2BR lock-off at OKW. Waitlisted for BWV last week and today got the email that the wait lisy came through!!

For this trip I would need a minivan (there's 6 of us) and right now the prices are outrageous. I refuse to spend $700 for 6 days of a van. So if I use ME instead, we'll be able to walk to DHS or Epcot and the over 21's can walk down to the BW to go to Jellyrolls or the Dance Hall.

Check the transportation board for the Budget codes. We booked our minivan for less than $600 for 2 weeks. Of course your dates may be in a busier time but try those codes and see if it makes any difference for you.

i've stayed at BWV many times with that standard view and each one was great. we had the best view of hollywood studio fire works on standard one year. its such a great resort in a great location i dont think i could ever be disappointed!

Ask for "close to parking lot". You'll be furthest away from the lobby & elevators, but you'll avoid the noise from the carts.
